PROJECT WORKSHOP
Duration: 3 days
Place: Universidade de Brasília, Brasília-DF, 2017
Proposal elaborated with students of private and public universities.
The work focuses on the affluent area that interconnects the Industry Sector (SIA), Guará I, Guará II and the South Park Sector in Brasilia. Despite being among important administrative regions, this residual area prevents the connection between these neighborhoods, generating a fragmentation in the urban design. The purpose of the workshop was to create connection possibilities by proposing the alteration of part of the road infrastructure, valuing the stream, the preservation of native vegetation, thus changing the protagonism of the intervention area. The stream, as the residual area, becomes a protagonist in the urban context, is no longer a fund and acquires relevance as a regional interconnection area.
