Brasilia through British Media

2014

Daniel Mangabeira’s article, published on the brazilian website Vitruvius , examines some articles and documentaries released between the 1950s and the present time in the British media and also expose chronologically how these articles and videos created an atmosphere of scepticism, disbelief and prejudice around one of the most controversial urban contributions of the twentieth century, Brasilia. The intention was not to discuss the origins of the critique of the Brazilian capital in the British media, but to chronologically expose the published articles through a vast and meticulous research in the media of the United Kingdom.
