PROJECT
BRASÍLIA – DF, 2015
This building in Brasilia occupies two sites with different levels of threshold. A single commercial ground floor connects the two access levels, flanked by a pedestrian gallery. Uncovered terraces and internal voids articulate the different levels of the building. The corner between the two sites is currently occupied by a large storage shed.
The building uses prefabricated concrete structure in a regular grid and without transition slabs. The accesses to the pedestrian gallery and the elevated ground floor occur through public squares created within the limits of the grounds.
