For the Almenat Tapestry By Hilton project, we redesigned most of the hotel’s common areas: lounges, restaurants, bowling alley and games room. We started with the idea of using different colour combinations to identify each of the hotel’s three floors of common areas and contrast the intervention layer with the remaining areas. At the same time, we took advantage of the irregular shape of the perimeter of each floor to sectorise its functions through the furniture. We removed all the ceilings and exposed the installations on each floor. In some sections of the ceiling we used hollow ceilings that adapt to the original geometry of the space.
