SIG Building

PROJECT

BRASÍLIA – DF, 2015

This building in Brasilia occupies two sites with different levels of threshold. A single commercial ground floor connects the two access levels, flanked by a pedestrian gallery. Uncovered terraces and internal voids articulate the different levels of the building. The corner between the two sites is currently occupied by a large storage shed.

The building uses prefabricated concrete structure in a regular grid and without transition slabs. The accesses to the pedestrian gallery and the elevated ground floor occur through public squares created within the limits of the grounds.

This project was developed in collaboration with Modulo Arquitetos
Authors: Daniel Mangabeira, Eurípedes Neto, Henrique Coutinho and Matheus Seco
Team: Victor Machado

Built Surface: 20.520sqm
Project:2016
